OMG! $8.83 for all of this!!!
Oh, but I DO love couponing!

$8.83 for all of this. Just makes my day!
Added perks to this afternoon’s shopping was a bonus peelie for $2 off meat when you buy 2 bags of Grande corn chips (these were on sale for $2, with a .75/1 Q, making them free). So, that’s where the steak in the front of the picture came from. Sell by today date, so I got it for $0.16 after the coupon.
Had to fit Farm Fresh in today, there were just too many good deals to skip it, even though I’m WAY busy. I got my list from TheCouponConsultant.com.
Harris Teeter Triples List for 4/29-5/5
I’m loving the google spreadsheet thing! I can do just about everything I need in it, and share it easily.

This list is complete and accurate for Hampton Roads, Virginia. Prices were verified the morning of the sale on express lane for Hanbury Rd. (I was shocked at how inaccurate the list on HTC was this time, more mistakes than not! I spent a lot of time pretty much re-doing everything, as they had bad prices and wrong sources on 2/3 of the lists.) Still it’s one of my favorite sites! Can’t win ‘em all, and it’s all volunteer.
With a whole week to get the deals, this is a really opportunity. Make sure to use up any coupons that will expire today (4/29) or tomorrow (4/30), I didn’t mark them, but perhaps I should.
Make garage sale shopping easier
Whether you call them yard sales, garage sales, tag sales or rummage sales, it all means the same thing — buying second-hand goods at a deep discount.
I love garage sales! To make my garage saling (can somebody please tell me the right way to write that!?) easier, I started looking into mapping them online early last spring. Well, one thing led to another and I ended up creating GarageSaleFinder, a website that maps all the yard sales in my area and gives me a nifty list to go with it. I even figured out how download the info into my GPS unit.
Once I realized how popular this idea was I knew I was going to have to get help so I could take it national. I did just that and the new and improved GarageSaleFinder site started working nationally as of April 15th.
It’s easy to use and FREE. What a deal! Not only can you print garage sale maps, with turn-by-turn directions (compliments of Google), but you can list your own garage sale for free as well.
If you need great directions and maps to garage sales, or if you want to advertise your garage sale for free, visit GarageSaleFinder today.
The Coupon Consultant
Definitely worth checking out! She’s in Hampton Roads and does classes quite often. I’ve met a few people who’ve taken her workshop and they were all happy. She’s even managed to get the folks at Fox43 to put her on the air and help teach people about *really* saving money.
Her blog is fairly straightforward, just ingnore the annoying scrolling text.
Farm Fresh Double Dollars continue…
There is still time to take advantage of the many great deals at Farm Fresh since they’re doubling up to $1 the whole sale week (through Tuesday).
Can anyone say, “Free peanut butter?”
