Bloom Super Doubles and Farm Fresh Deals

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

I’m off to the store (late, I know) to first head to Farm Fresh to use the amazing list of matchups for Farm Fresh that Lori at The Coupon Consultant put together.

Then I’m heading over to Bloom. Mostly with my high value coupons from the last super doubles. I found a few other coupons online that match up to some sales. It’s really tough to do a decent list for Bloom without being able to check prices, and they are managing to keep their couponing events under wraps well enough that the normal couponing goddesses over at Hot Coupon World aren’t even making lists.

High on my list for Farm Fresh is Nestlé cookie dough for $0.50 with coupon and the mix&match deal

Bloom Super Duper Doubles

Monday, September 28th, 2009

I never did put a decent list together for this event, I just have trouble getting that excited about it, and it’s tough to do a good list for Bloom without the ability to price items online. I did take the short lists that a few other bloggers had with me to the the store.

My first trip, which wasn’t until Saturday night, netting me this:

Spent lots more than usual on a couponing trip, but I was happy with what I got for my total of $15.71

Day 10 – AYGC

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

Getting ready for my trip, taking advantage of Super Doubles at Harris Teeter and Double Dollar Wednesday at Farm Fresh — boy, oh boy, have I had a busy day!

First stop: Bloom – 4 12 packs of pop for our road trip. $10.25 including tax.

Next: Farm Fresh – Total was $17.03, but I bought 2 bottles of Tide ($3.99 each plus tax after coupon), and two boxes of Wet Ones ($0.50 each plus tax after coupon), so my grocery total was only $7.60.

Moving down the road: WalMart – Most of the ticket was non-food stuff. The food total was $10.52. $6 of that was lunch meat. I usually wait for a much better price, but I’m leaving a hungry 18 year old to fend for himself for a week, plus we’re packing sandwiches to eat on the road, so we needed something besides bologna.

Last stop for the night: Harris Teeter – My total was $9.72. If I weren’t so busy getting ready for vacation I’d have posted a picture of this stuff, at least. Lots of frozen heat-and-heat foods for the kid. Even though I’m providing fairly easy stuff, it should be a good experience for him to have to fend for himself for a bit.

Wow! My total is $38.09. Including yesterday’s shopping I’ve used up half of this week’s allowance. This may get tricky!

Bloom – not so super

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

Bloom is doing a couponing even thist week, but Hampton Roads apparently got the short straw — we’re only getting double coupons (up to 99 cents). Big whoop, we get that everyday at Harris Teeter and Farm Fresh. In any case, I’d already created a list (for triples), so since it is a spreadsheet, changing the math was just a few clicks.

Here’s the link for the Bloom DOUBLES list: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=rjjoGegsShc7_ZXvCe53A4g

Be sure to check out TheCouponConsultant.com for her Farm Fresh match-ups Wednesday morning.

Keep your eyes peeled for spreadsheets with match-ups for both Harris Teeter and Bloom. Harris Teeter is doing a “super doubles” even and will double coupons up to $1.98. Bloom is doing triples this week.

More info to come soon.
