Day 3 of Harris Teeter Triples — still lots of great deals to be had!
I spent $2.97 today, $10.83 yesterday, and $4.43 on Wednesday. My receipt from Thursday is around somewhere…
Here’s what I got today for under $3:

In the foreground I even got a catalina for 50 cents off my next purchase (which will be tomorrow).
In all honesty, this trip’s total should have been a bit higher (by about a buck). Not sure why it wasn’t, but it makes up for the errors on the previous 3 trips, each one had coupons that didn’t triple correctly, which tends to happen when the coupon is for a purchase of more than one item, the first trip was several dollars higher than it should have been. I figure it balances out.

My “score” at Farm Fresh tonight.
It was a very late trip. By the time I had all my coupons sorted, it was 11:35… Farm Fresh closes at midnight. Good thing I know my way around the store. Plus the guys that stock the shelves are always helpful.

My total was only $8.53. (The EVOO was $5.39 of that.)
For some reason, I thought Bloom was open 24 hours. Not! They closed at midnight too. I’ll head there in the morning. There are some dynamite deals; I’ll post details once I verify prices and all.

Bloom Super Duper Doubles
I never did put a decent list together for this event, I just have trouble getting that excited about it, and it’s tough to do a good list for Bloom without the ability to price items online. I did take the short lists that a few other bloggers had with me to the the store.
My first trip, which wasn’t until Saturday night, netting me this:

Spent lots more than usual on a couponing trip, but I was happy with what I got for my total of $15.71
Recent Harris Teeter Trips
I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to post my latest results.
Starting back on August 18, at Harris Teeter I got this:

My total was lower than expected because the General Mills deal rolled between transactions and I got an extra $5 off. Couldn't even use my last coupon! My total was only 80ยข!
The next day at Harris Teeter (the 19th), I got:

I spent a whopping $8.98 on this table full of food.
Next up: Harris Teeter, September 20 -

(running downstairs to grab the receipt) Ta da! $1.03. Another GM discount, so I had to grab the canned green beans to bring my ticket to the positive side.
I did 2 more trips to Harris Teeter, but didn’t take photos, more of the same mostly. I did get one more of the $5 GM discounts and had to buy an inexpensive bottle of wine to take me to the positive side.
My teenage boys are LOVING the pizza rolls. Great snack, and really cheap with the coupons. Good thing I bought that freezer last week!
Word on the street is that Harris Teeter is doing super doubles starting Wednesday, September 30th.
Harris Teeter brag post – 09/17/09
I finally made it to the store tonight. Boy, the shelves were sure cleaned out! I hope they restock. This happened the last time when there was a General Mills deal — all the Betty Crocker stuff with coupons was gone. My total: $9.59. Not a bad first trip when you consider the 2 packages of lunch meat accounted for just under half ($4.68).

I spent a little more than I usually do on a “first” trip, as we really needed some sandwich meat. A wonderfully generous person gifted me with a LOT of bread, see:
