Day 18 – AYGC
Ah… the trip home. I knew I wasn’t gonna get off scott free!
We made a pit stop on the way to the freeway and picked up snacks: over-priced chips, donuts and ice (we still had soft drinks left over from my previous shopping trip and the ones in the van we brought for the trip up). I spent $7.67. I’d have preferred to just get ice, but I think having the snacks kept up from having to stop for both lunch and dinner. 10-hour drive.
We did stop for lunch at Taco Bell (my all-time favorite fast-food restaurant). Andy wasn’t hungry, so he didn’t eat. Just Mike and I, cost $6.88.
We didn’t stop again for food. We got home about 9:30 and munched on snacks already available. Glad there was food in the house!

Day 11 – AYGC
As we were on the road this day, I didn’t do any shopping. However, we did stop for fast food and spent about $17 on dinner for three at a fast food restaurant. All other snacks and beverages were just what we packed in our ice chest.

Day 3 – AYGC
Leftovers for dinner tonight. I had a bunko game, so I just had snacks there. (I won $40 at bunko!)
Since it was Wednesday, I used the list at TheCouponConsultant for my Farm Fresh shopping trip. I tend to go late at night. It works out for me, since there’s nearly nobody in the store and they’ve started stocking the shelves for the next day, so anything that had sold out during the day has usually already been replenished.
Here’s what I got today… forĀ $3.41

A point of clarification: My receipt total was $15.41, but they refunded $12. The Raisin Bran rang up wrong and the Farm Fresh policy is to give you the item for free if it rings up wrong. (it had rung up at $4.39, instead of $3, so they refunded the 4.39×2+tax = $9, and 3 coupons didn’t double, so they gave me cash back on those too.
See, cash!

The raisin bran (at least part of one box) and the buttermilk are for an awesome raisin bran muffin recipe my sister made for me a few weeks ago. I’m making ‘em tomorrow.
