Here’s a convenient reference — it will come in handy when you don’t ave the “right” sized onion.

• 1 small = 1/3 cup chopped
• 1 medium =1/2 cup chopped
• 1 large = 1 cup chopped
• 1 green onion = 2 tablespoons sliced
