Ready Set… Save – recipes that match local sale prices to the ingredients!

Simple and Delicious has changed to ReadySetEat, and I love what I’m seeing!

I clicked on the recipe in the newsletter and saw a nifty little ‘Sale’ tag on one of the ingredients. Clicked on it and… voilà! (we’ll see how that accent transfers to the web…) It showed me where, LOCALLY the item was on sale.

Go to the Dinner Made Smarter page where you can enter your zip code and select your stores.

Oh, and there are coupons on this site two: right now there’s a Hunts Pasta Sauce coupon for 40¢ off one can, and a LaChoy coupon as well.

Harris Teeter Super Doubles Trip, my first day

I finally got around to getting to Harris Teeter Thursday night. That’s four pizzas, two packages of chicken nuggets and multiples of cereal, desserts, salad dressings and more.

Harris Teeter Super Doubles – Nov 2010

Somehow Tuesday is here and I still have no local list. My apologies, work and home responsibilities and all that. Fortunately, Dana @ The Coupon Challenge HAS been working on a list! You can find  Harris Teeter Match Ups at The Coupon Challenge

Thanks, Dana!

Harris Teeter Super Doubles Matchups – Aug 11-17, 2010

While I’m personally disappointed that we didn’t get triples, I am happy that we have a little something extra. I was expecting the couponing even to be the last week of July since that had been Harris Teeter’s pattern for a while. Nothing too extraordinary, IMO. But enough deals to make it worthwhile to head out.

The eVIC special is worth grabbing: Buy a combination of 3 Peter Pan Peanut butters and Welch’s jelly to get a special price of .97 each, use the coupons (see list) and get them all for free.

I looked up all the coupons in the Smart Source inserts, but can’t verify the RedPlum Qs since I don’t get them.

In any case, here’s the link to the spreadsheet with the Harris Teeter Super Double Matchups for August 2010. Hope to see my couponing buddies over the next few days.

Harris Teeter Super Doubles-Regular Price Items

Dana over at The Coupon Challenge has finished her Harris Teeter Super Doubles Matchups. Thanks, Dana! I’ve been buried in work and haven’t had a time to get down to business with the list.

Harris Teeter Brags 4/28

I was in and out pretty quick because I had a client meeting this morning. I did well (forgot to get eggs, though!). They have some good sale-priced items (no coupons) that I’ll go back for later today or tomorrow.

Anyway, here is what I got for $4.55. That’s down from $38.

$4.55 buys a lot during triple coupons at Harris Teeter

How did you guys do? Post your totals in the comments section, or email me a photo and I’ll add it to the site.

New circular, new HT deals

There is a 55¢/2 coupon for Duncan Hines cake mixes in today’s (3/28/2010) SmartSource insert. Duncan Hines cake mixes are on sale for 99¢, making them only 2 for 33¢.

Lots of other coupons with deals worth making another trip for. I’m personally going to buy a few more newspapers at Dollar Tree.

Here’s the link again, so you don’t have to search for it:

Harris Teeter Triples – Day 1 Results

Harris Teeter was fairly busy this morning. Lots of shoppers with coupons! (very few without) As usual, my shopping trip was longer because I love to stop and talk to other shoppers. It’s a good way to find deals you’ve missed, as well as coach those new to couponing.

Just used my quota of 20 coupons, didn’t get anything else this morning. Lots of client work to get back to.

Spent $7.48, including tax, for all of this:

All this for $7.48! I love triple coupons at Harris Teeter.
